Local Area Details

Fontevraud Abbey is 6km away and forms the centre piece of the Loire Valley World Heritage site. The caves at St Cyr en Bourg provide the largest underground wine producing galleries outside of Champaigne and the nearby Chateau de Breze has the largest underground encampment sufficient for a garrison to survive an indefinate siege.
The world famous Cadre Noir riding school in Saumur also give regular displays of their skills.
