This charming two bedroom, former fisherman's cottage is set in the picturesque fishing village of Johnshaven, just 25 miles south of Aberdeen.
The comfortable cottage has been re-refurbished to a high standard and is very well equipped. It provides an ideal base for relaxing and also exploring the coast and nearby Royal deeside.

Local Area Details

there are folders in the cottage detailing Tourist Attractions, Restaurants and Activities in the area.Golf, fishing, walking, horse riding and bird watching are all covered. Dunnotar Castle at nearby Stonehaven is a must to visit as is Glamis castle and The House of Dun, a magnificent National Trust property. St Cyrus beach and Nature Reserve are a few minutes to the south and walkers will love the Angus Glens to the west. Don't forget the Castle Trail, the Whisky Trail and the Heritage Trail. So many things to do, or why not just relax on a bench at the harbour and watch the local fishermen unload their boats. A two minute walk from the cottage takes you to the beach where you can follow the Coastal Walk, north to Gourdon or south to the beautiful sandy beach at St Cyrus. Two pubs provide local atmosphere and good food can be found at The Anchor Hotel.
