The Apartment is air conditioning throughout (also doubles as a heater in the chillier evenings)
There is a large patio to the front which has views over the nearby Nature Reserve to the sea. This has patio table and chairs, 2 loungers and a Barbeque (saves on the washing up!!!)
For entertainment there is a TV with Satellite channels (BBC1,2,3 ITV 1, Channel 4 etc), DVD, Hi-Fi.
2 pools are available on site, both of which have separate childrens' paddling pools.

Local Area Details

The Marina Golf course is 200m from the apartment together with another 3 courses with a 15 minute drive.
The beach is at the bottom of the hill and stretches for 17Km !
The apartment is situated mid-way between the Towns of Mojacar and Garrucha where many excellent restaurants and entertainment can be found.
Garrucha is an active fishing port and really comes alive around 5:00 pm when the day's catch is landed.
From both of these towns it is possible to participate in many activities, Pony trekking, Scuba Diving, Sailing, Quad Biking, Mini Safaris, etc.
It is even possible to go skiing in the winter at the Sierra Nevada (approx 2 hr drive). Also near there is the wonderful city of Granada with its world renowned Alhambra Palace (best to book in advance if you intend to visit as it is very popular)
For fans of Clint Eastwood and Spagetti Westerns there is a 'Western' Theme Park at Tabernas (approx 45mins) where many of these movies were filmed.
For those who like a more relaxing holiday, the National Park Cabo de Gata is approximately 20 mins south. Here the environment is stictly protected and development has been minimised so it really is tranquil and highly recommended.

About Golfing

As well as the Marina Golf course on the doorstep, there is, within a 20 minute drive, the Valle de Este, Desert Springs and Cortjo Grande courses. A little further afield (approx 40 mins)are La Envia and La Serena. It is also possible to visit the courses at La Manga which is just over an hour away. The apartment, therefore, makes agreat base for your golfing break.
