Property Details of Costa Blanca Villa
Villa Ra is set in the quiet and exclusive San Jaime area of Moraira on the side of a valley with lovely sea and hill views. The very private pool and terrace are not overlooked at all. Spacious open-plan living area, American kitchen, large glazed naya and sitting room all share the same lovely views. Twin bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs is the master bedroom with balcony, another twin bedroom and full bathroom. Outside there is also a purpose-built barbecue area and orchard garden. There is a supermarket close-by and bar/restaurants within walking distance.
The villa has sun-beds and a large parasol, and 2 electrically operated awnings shade the naya and adjoining open terrace. There is secure, shaded, off-road parking for one vehicle in addition to roadside parking. A travel cot can be made available by prior arrangement for a small additional sum. We have a double sofa bed which is very simple to use, comfortable and incorporates its own bedding store. The recently built pool is 8m x 4m with a 1m shallow end and Roman steps. The washing machine, drying and ironing facilities, are housed in a separate utility room. Fans are provided for all bedrooms, which are all double glazed and fitted with mosquito netting, as is the shower room. Please note that whilst bedroom three has 2 full-sized beds it is fairly small so may be more suitable for children. As well as a CD Player and Sky Satellite T.V. with DVD Player, we provide over 50 DVD titles and over 60 CD albums for your enjoyment.
The villa has radiators to all main areas, so is warm and comfortable in cooler weather, and the glazed naya makes the most of the sun, so it is very suitable for Winter lets.
Local Area DetailsSandy Moraira Beach is less than a 5 minute drive away, and has a Beach Bar and all the facilities you would expect from a Blue Flag Beach.
The beautiful 9-hole Moraira golf-course with poolside bar/restaurant and magical views down to the sea is open to non-members and is within walking distance of the villa, with the popular 18-hole course at Jesus Pobre and the 9-hole course at Javea about 15 minutes away by car. Nearby are tennis courts, squash, water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding and go-kart racing. A little further away are the coastal resorts of Javea (15 mins. by car) with its beautiful sandy horse-shoe bay bordered by beach bars and restaurants, Denia with its long, sandy beach and pretty Calpe in the other direction. The local wine-making area of the Jalon valley, surrounded by mountains is also about 20 mins. drive away, and from here you can venture further into the spectacular mountain scenery - perfect for those who enjoy walking, cycling or climbing. Moraira is only 45 minutes drive from the livelier Benidorm which is close to Terra Mitica (a Disney style theme park) and Aqualandia Water Park.
Moraira is situated on the Costa Blanca, an hours drive from both Alicante and Valencia airports, between the larger centres of Javea and Calpe. Described as The Millionaires' Playground, Moraira in fact has something for everyone - peace and tranquility * beautiful mountain scenery * clean, sandy beaches with good facilities & small bars serving cooling drinks * a lively & interesting nightlife with Tapas Bars and restaurants - some smart, plenty that are more down-to-earth, and many featuring fish dishes, especially in the port area * a couple of discos - set a little away from the town itself * the atmospheric Old Town area * lots of shops filled with local wares and curiosities * a weekly market...Then of course there's the Marina, with all those expensive boats to look at...and don't forget the local people - who must rank amongst the friendliest in the world. SHOPS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS ARE OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND, WHICH MAKES IT AN IDEAL PLACE FOR AN OUT OF SEASON BREAK.

Please add £10 per person per week to these prices for laundry & services, plus a single cleaning charge of £50 per holiday. We find this to be an equitable charging arrangement which benefits smaller parties and, of course, larger parties already have the advantage of a lower price per head for rental costs. A Welcome Pack is also provided by our Local Agents, who will be happy to help you with any queries you may have during your holiday. (Pool Towels available on request at small laundry charge)
Special rates negotiable for longer than normal lets, and Winter rentals can be negotiated according to individual requirements, but are usually in the region of £1100 per month.
