This is an apartment that has the most incredible, unrestricted view across a natural salt-water lake to the Pyrenees in the background. It is a vista you will never tire of. Your day will start with breakfast against a backdrop of sunrise on the Pyrenees and finish sitting with your feet up watching a Mediterranean sunset whilst sipping a cool glass of wine and listening to the water lapping on the beach just below the apartment. Accommodation is attractive, well laid out and newly furnished in 2003, with a twin bedroom airy lounge with fully fitted kitchen and two very high quality sofa beds. Nice balcony with dining area overlooking the lake. Guests can use the private lakeside beach, two swimming pools, table tennis and tennis courts. Cap Coudalere is on the inland facing side of a small strip of land separating The Mediterranean from one of the largest inland salt lakes (Etangs) in this region of France. Most of the local restaurants take their Mussels, Clams and Oysters from this etang and you can buy them fresh from the waters edge. This is an attractive and popular holiday area with miles of unspoilt beaches yet Cap Coudalere can be a very peaceful haven. There are unrestricted and spectacular views across the etang to the Pyrenees. The colourful Catalan city of Perpignan is only 10kms away and the beautiful coastline boasts world famous towns such as Collioure. The border with Spain is approx 20 minutes away and the immediate Costa Brava is magnificent and the Cities of Girona and Barcelona make fantastic days out. To the north of Coudalere are the attractive cities of Narbonne, Montpelier and Carcassonne. There are many interesting drives and walks to enjoy in this area plus Cathar castles to explore
