With wonderful views over Port Leucate and the Pyrenees, the apartment offers a well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer microwave and hot plate.
A lounge/dinning area with French doors opening out onto a large balcony, ideal for enjoying the long summer evenings possibly washed down with a glass of locally produced wine, whilst overlooking the yachting marina.
The apartment comfortably sleeps four, with a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living area.
All linen and towels are provided and changed weekly.
Local Area DetailsPort Leucate itself, sits between the Gulf de Lions and a vast salt water lagoon, reserved for wind-surfing, which is home to many water birds including pink flamingos.
Many activities are available in and around Port Leucate. Water sports, fishing, golf, cycling, horse riding, skiing, and wine tasting to name but a few. The local golf course is just 30 minutes away, offering 18 (par 73) and 9 (par 35) holes and is open all year round. In contrast, the ski slopes of Andorra are only a 2 ½ hrs drive. For your children or the child in you, Port Leucate boasts a fantastic Aqualand situated just minutes up the road.
All amenities are available within the complex, including both an English speaking Doctor and Dentist. For those wishing to seek more of a shopping opportunity, the nearest centre can be found in Perpignan, a mere 15 minutes by car, or for those wishing to experience the French transport system, the local bus service runs approximately every 30 minutes.
