Resort: Meribel is set right in the centre of the famous "Three Valleys" ski area which is renowned as one of the best in the world. The village of Meribel (1450 m) is charming with lots of character. Meribel Mottaret (1800 m) is the satellite village above built in the same Alpine style and has a separate selection of shops and restaurants. Meribel Les Allues (1100 m) is 5 km below the village and is conneciton by cable car. Cross country skiing, snow walks. In Meribel village: ice rink, heated swimming pool, squash, gym, sauna, steam bath, massage. Good seleciton of shops, restaursnts, discos, cinemas. Moutiers approx 18 km (railway station with bus connection), Bourg St Maurice approx 46 km, Albertville approx 45 km and Geneva approx 136 km.
Meribel is set right in the centre of the famous "Three Valleys" ski area which is renowned as one of the best in the world with over 600 kms of ski pistes. 2 cable cars, 25 cable cabins, 46 chair lifts, 111 drag lifts. Best suited to intermediates and advanced skiers. Large ski school with English speaking ski instructors. 110 kms of cross country skiing. Ice skating, swimming pool, hang gliding.
