Cherry Tree is one of four cottages that have been restored to provide
modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse.

Leaving in lots of the original features, like granite walls and exposed oak beams.

A perfect place for all the family to unwind, either by the pool or under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine.

The ground floor consists of an open plan lounge/ kitchen /dining area, designed so the whole family can join in with the holiday.
It is a bright sunny room with 3 large picture windows, exposed oak beams, it also has a log burner in the lounge area.
This is a comfortable, well equipped cottage for 6 people.
The 1st floor has a shower room and 3 bedrooms, 2 double rooms and
a room with bunk beds all have granite walls and exposed oak beams.
There is a separate patio at the side of the gîte, with garden furniture, sun canopy and a BBQ, this leads to the shared pool and patio area.

La Basse Rouerie is a traditional Breton farmhouse and Longere that dates back 600 years in parts.
It has two and a half acres of gardens with open views over undulating farmland.

The communal patio area has a brick BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the kids play. We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks.

The heated above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the surroundings in the orchard. The pool is open from May - September.

The gardens are the ideal place to either relax by the pool, have a picnic under a tree, or just sit and read a good book while sipping a glass a wine.

There is a 14ft trampoline with safety nets, badminton net, swings, boules pit, swing ball, and basketball net in the gardens, along with numerous games.
In the covered veranda area there is table tennis, table soccer and a darts board.
The gardens are large and safe enough for children to play.

Just down the lane there is an 18 km Patrimoine walk through lovely countryside.

Local Area Details

Although we are in a quiet location we are only 5 mins from the village centre with its bar tabac restaurant shop, and only 10 mins from Louvigne du Desert with its shops supermarkets and restaurants.
Also nearby are attractions like Mont Saint Michel, miles of sandy coastline, water and floral parks, walking and cycle tracks, trout fishing, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, Chateaux and numerous places of interest.
We are the ideal place for that weekend break, a househunting trip, that romantic getaway, or that family holiday.
