It is centrally situated in the heart of the Latin Quartier and is adjacent to the Mouffetard Market. Les Arènes de Lutèce – the ancient Roman amphitheater and gardens -- is next door. Within easy walking distance are the Pantheon, Sorbonne, Luxembourg Gardens, le Jardin des Plantes, the Cathédrale de Nôtre Dame and the Metro station. The neighborhood is safe and lively and has a distinctive village atmosphere. It is a bustling community with terraced cafés, restaurants, bars, bookshops, boutiques, ice cream parlors, cinemas, and the famous Mouffetard open-air market.
The apartment has recently been renovated and modernized and is furnished with just about everything you will need to help make your Paris visit comfortable and enjoyable. There is a LCD TV, a laptop computer with a high-speed Internet connection, free international phone service, and a cellular phone for local use.
