The Old Stables Cottage is a recent conversion in a quite area. Upstairs there is a bathroom, a double bedroom and a bedroom with two full size (6'3")fitted bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath and thermostatically controlled shower with unlimited hot water. The ground floor consists of a spacious kitchen and comfortable lounge. One of the sofas does convert to a bed if required. A secure yard and garden area provides secure parking. We operate a no smoking policy in the Cottage.
Local Area DetailsConveniently located within a few minutes walk from the centre of the market town of Chester-le-Street and the Riverside Park. We are on the main Newcastle/Durham bus route and close to the railway station (on the London/Edinburgh line).
It is ideally located for Durham County's Riverside Cricket Ground and Lumley Castle. Easy access to junction 63 on the A1(m) motorway, Beamish Museum, Durham City, the Metro Centre, Newcastle and Hadrian's Wall.
