TILLAC-GITES has 2 luxury self-catering gites sleeping 6 (Souris) and 8 (Fauvette).
There is an inter-connecting door if property is let as one, sleeping 14 in all, making it ideal for a large family group.

Enjoy a holiday in our beautiful converted barn, finished to a very high standard with a mixture of old and new features.

Situated in a quiet hamlet, Plassac-Rouffiac, just south of Mouthiers-sur-Boëme, 20 mins from historic Angoulême and 30 mins from its' airport.

Test your skills with a game of boules/croquet/ball games/frizzbees/table tennis in our large 1.5 acre garden,or explore the wide selection of activities on offer in the area.

Lots to do and see : canoeing,jet-ski, golf, go-karting to name but a few.

20 min's to Pleasure Lake which has boating, swimming, wind-surfing and fishing. Pretty Brantome is worth a visit with shops/cafés/canoeing on the River Dronne and also river cruises.

Cognac, with its cognac houses to visit, golf courses and tennis courts, together with river cruises on the River Charente, is a mere 30 mins away.

The coast and Futuroscope are approximately 1.5 hrs away or simply pop into Angoulême for lunch with it's abundance of restaurants and culture.

Restaurants/bouloungerie/pharmacy/charcuterie/hairdresser/do ctor/dentist/ post office and mini-supermarket are 5 mins drive away.Large supermarkets only 15 mins away at Villebois Lavalette and Chateauneuf.

Resident English owners who keep a low profile but happy to assist in any way during your stay.

Cognac/Wine tasting at our neighbours vineyards is also a pleasurable pastime.

Gite 1 - Fauvette - Sleeps 2 to 8. Spacious accommodation. Open plan ground floor with separate shower room and toilet, large lounge and fully equipped kitchen with full range of utensils, cooker, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer and microwave. Impressive dining area opened up through to exposed roof beams. Separate utility room with washing machine, iron, ironing board,airer etc.

Satellite HD TV/DVD player with expanding DVD library. Books and games provided. Free internet access (WIFI)

First Floor - Three large double bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with twin beds. A second shower room and toilet. All rooms lead from the mezzanine. There are two foldaway beds available if required.

Private Patio area with BBQ, table, chairs and parasol, overlooking pool and beautiful countryside.

Gite 2 -Souris - Sleeps 2 to 6

With open plan ground floor. Fully equipped kitchen with full range of utensils, cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. Dining and lounge areas, separate shower room/toilet. Utility room with washing machine, ironing board, iron, airer etc.

Satellite HD TV/DVD player with expanding DVD library. Books and games also provided. Free internet access (WIFI)

There is an inter-connecting door between the 2 properties for convenience if both gites are rented together to large parties, sleeping up to 14 in all, making it ideal for a large family group.

First Floor - 3 large double bedrooms, one with double bed and two with twin beds. Second shower room and toilet.

Private Patio area with BBQ, table, chairs and parasol, overlooking pool and beautiful countryside.

Linen and bath towels provided (changed weekly). Pool towels are also provided. Utilities included.

Both Gites have log burning stoves for out of season letting, making them ideal for house hunting in the area. There is a €40 pw supplement for logs per gite during winter lets.

Smoking outside only. Sorry, no pets are allowed.

A welcome basket is also provided.
