Chalet Richebourg is a traditional Savoyard chalet, which has been refurbished and can sleep 8 people comfortably in 3 en- suite rooms. Two of the rooms have twin beds, which can be pushed together to form big comfy doubles; the third room sleeps up to 4 people in twin beds (which can be pushed together to form a double) and a bunk set. Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor. The third bedroom is accessed off a small lobby adjacent to the sitting room on the ground floor. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and a washbasin. The chalet is south facing and the enclosed courtyard-style terrace receives the sun’s rays all day. We have got a heated boot-room, this will ensure that boots and coats, etc. will all be dry and warm for the next day`s activity, whether it is skiing, walking or mountain biking. Upon entering the chalet, there is a large entrance hall, with a well equipped kitchen leading off to one side. Through double doors, the chalet has a spacious open plan sitting and dining room, cosy log fire for winter evenings, TV with UK BBC channels, video player and Playstation 2. Accessed through another door, there is a separate WC, washbasin and utility room with washer and dryer, fridge for cold drinks and a large freezer.

The Portes du Soleil region is the largest interconnected ski area in the world and has 628kms of piste 288 marked slopes 209 ski lifts and covers 8 French ski resorts and 6 Swiss resorts The chalet is ideally placed to provide swift access to a number of Portes du Soleil ski stations Any one resort will provide extensive skiing however the linked Portes du Soleil network provides limitless options You could start in France have lunch in Switzerland and return to the start without ever having to ski the same run twice The neighbouring ski regions of the Grand Massif Samens Flaine Le Carroz are 40 minutes by car and Megeve and Chamonix are approximately 90 minutes Summer activities The spectacular Ponts du Diable Devils Gorge is only 2 kilometres from the chalet Lake Geneva and the spatowns of ThononlesBains and EvianlesBains are approx 20 kilometres away There is a supermarket with petrolcarwash facility 6 kilometres away from the chalet which is more than adequate for a weekly shop Additionally a larger hypermarket is available about 24 kilometres distant The village of le Biot which is within walking distance of the chalet has a restaurantbar bakery post office and tennis courts It also has a skihire shop The village of St Jean DAulps is approx 5 kilometres away and boasts one of the finest restaurants in the valley The town of Morzine has a sports centre tennis courts and banking facilities
