Casa Mangona is an old styled country house situated in the region of Mugello in the heart of Tuscany. It's half of a two-family house.
It was built in the years immediately following the Second World War and has been reorganized over these years to fit the requirements of a modern holiday house.
Basic components of the building were rebuilt in recent times (about 5 years ago): roof, floors, electrical wiring, gas heating plant. Nonetheless significant features of an old styled house are still present: thick walls, ceilings with beams, cotto (a kind of clay) pavements, fireplaces.

The house faces towards a courtyard paved with gravel that houses a vine-covered pergola with a plastic 6-person table.
The house area is about 150 square meters distributed on two levels: ground and first floor. On the ground floor there is a big living room, a kitchen, a small bathroom, a former bedroom with no furniture and a big utility room.
The living room has a 8-person ancient wooden table, a sofa and a fireplace. The kitchen has a 4-person table, cooker, electric oven, sink and another fireplace. The bathroom as WC, bidet and wash basin but no shower. The utility room contains wood, tools and other stuff.
The first floor is made of 2 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom (two single beds), a kitchen and a bathroom with WC, bidet, wash basin and shower. From the first floor kitchen you access an outdoor terrace with a 6-person plastic table and a wood stove. From the terrace you get to the garden.
