Staying in our apartment you have the best of both worlds, as we are only 20 minutes drive away from both the beautiful coastline of the Adriatic, with its golden sands and the rugged mountains of the Apennines.
The apartment is positioned in a very quiet rural spot, but within walking distance of shops, bars and a lovely restaurant. The well-equipped apartment comfortably sleeps 6 people and has a lovely sitting out and barbecue area where you can sit back, relax and observe a sea of olive trees and grape vines. With the Maiella Mountains in the background it makes a perfect spot to relax while sampling the local wines.
Local Area DetailsAbruzzo is often described as the garden of Europe the green lungs of Italy This beautiful and unspoilt region is situated half way down Italys Adriatic coast and is the most sparsely populated region of Italy with a third of its area protected which has no equal in the rest of Europe There are so many things to do both locally and further afield We have details of many tourist attractions and other suggestions for keeping you as busy as you want These details are at the apartment in the form of a visitors information pack If you are interested in a moutain or beach holiday a hiking or walking holiday there is so much to do for all ages and abilities If you want to visit Roman ruins historic hilltop towns or explore fantastic mountain caves or even take part in a wolf watching excursion then we have details of all these and a lot lot more If wine is an interest we can arrange wine tasting at the local wine cantinas Our nearest cantina is a lovely 10 minute walk through their vineyards so you can forget about the car sample the wine and return for a barbecue We have details of many local festas to enable you to enjoy the Italian experience Most of these festas are based around food and wine as well as live music Even the small villages have 4 or 5 bands playing in different corners of the village so you can choose your favourite sit down and eat and drink and relax Our aim is for you to start your holiday on day number one and eliminate the need for a first day visit to the tourist information office
