Our spacious, tastefully renovated Bed and Breakfastroom (30 m2.) is located on the first floor on the frontside of the mainhouse of Domaine le Bost. The charming bedroom has a double bed of 1.80 x 2.00, a sitting area and coffee/tea facilities. You have a private bathroom with bath/shower, washing basin and a toilet. The wonderful view of Thiviers and surroundings and the beautiful sunset from your window, is not to be missed. In less favorable weather we will serve breakfast in our cozy diningroom.

With its eight acre garden, Domaine le Bost is a childrens paradise. The quaint towns and villages which add to the Dordognes tremendous appeal are surrounded by an area of exquisite natural beauty. Indeed the Perigord Vert region is said to be one of the loveliest regions in France and has much to offer visitors including leisurely strolls and bicycle and horseback rides. Less than 3 kilometres away a lake for recreational purposes continues to prove itself to be particularly popular among children. Culture vultures can attend cultural events to their hearts content. Often identified as the most beautiful town of the Dordogne area Jean de Cole is only a few miles away. Brantome with its Benedictine abbey, Periqeux and the vivid Nontron are also quite close. And the caves of Villars which have one of the most extensive cave systems of the Dordogne with fascinating prehistoric cave drawings are less than half an hour away. Thiviers is the capital of foie gras as you will easily discern from a visit to the Saturday market frequented by many locals. During the summer months you can enjoy Thiviers rich array of culinary delights including winefestivals, night markets and more. We will happily advise you on the wealth of delicious foods available in the regions restaurants and outdoor cafes. As for those who prefer to stay closer to home you dont even need to leave Domaine le Bost to enjoy regional dishes. Several times a week your host will introduce you to a variety of delicious dishes which he would like you to discover.
