The local outdoor swimming pool has breathtaking views of the Apuane mountains, which divide Barga from the coastal towns of Viareggio/Forte di Marmi etc. (about an hours drive).

There is a par 3 golf course nearby, however 18 hole golf course at Montecatini & Pisa are about an hours drive away.

Lucca is about 40 minutes drive whilst Pisa is about an hour away. Florence is also only about 90 minutes. All either by car or train.
