The Joseph House Inn sits on 3.5 acres of Fairy Tale Gardens in the middle of a quiet residential area one block off main street, nestled between the White Mountain and Eastern Sierra Mountain Ranges. We are also the gateways to Yosemity National Park, Death Valley, Mount Whitney and the Bristlecone Forest. The house has been beautifully renovated from the times of the Joseph Family, one of the original families in Bishop. All rooms are very comfortable and elegant with either King or Queen size beds and all with private baths, three have direct garden access via semi-private patios. A full gourmet breakfast is served, wine and cheese in the afternoon. Massages in the comfort of your room or in the garden are available by appointment. Golfing, fishing, hiking, skiing, climbing, bouldering, photography, and just relaxing in the gardens by the pond or relaxing with a book or video from our library in our comfortable livingroom by the fireplace are some of your recreational options.
