Welcome to our Devon holiday cottage, Rosalia, a late Victorian stone fronted period cottage, in the heart of the English Riviera. Situated in the charming village of Wellswood, on the outskirts of Torquay in a pretty location, close to many beaches, our holiday cottage has been tastefully modernised and fully equipped to provide you with a comfortable holiday home. Though in a peaceful mews road and conservation area, Rosalia is only 1/2 minute walk from local shops and 5 minutes from many beaches and secluded coves. The nearest cove is Anstey's Cove, 1/4 mile away; an enchanting, sheltered, shingle and rock beach ,which was once a smuggler's haven. Alternatively, a wooded walk for 1/2 mile brings you to Meadfoot Beach which is the nearest sandy beach and perfect for families. The locality includes designated heritage sights and the nearby heritage coast is served by many footpaths. A short stroll down the road will lead you past many wonderful restaurants, which includes an Italian and a French restaurant as well as a delicious bakery and tea house. Linen can be provided if required. There is also a piano available for a small hire charge, for musical guests and our caretakers can provide a babysitting service by negotiation. Ample parking exists outside of the cottage.
