All of our apartments have two comfortable bedrooms which can be arranged as twins or doubles on request with all linen and towels provided. The apartments have two private bathrooms with powerful showers and bath. Our fully fitted kitchens include utensils, toaster, oven, microwave and washing machine. Our Harbour Apartments have a comfortable lounge with a dining area, TV and DVD player. In addition there are futon beds which can provide accommodation for two extra people. Once a busy shipping port, Leith has undergone a huge regeneration and redevelopment in recent years. It is now home to the Scottish Executive and attractions such as the Royal Yacht Britania and the Ocean Terminal. This cosmopolitan area has a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and bars, with something to please every taste. The Harbour Apartments offer a real alternative to a hotel room. Run on a hotel basis with a minimum one night stay we offer 4 Star accommodation and the freedom and flexibility of your own apartment for the same price as a hotel room. Please note the Leith redevelopment project will be completed by 2008, however in the meantime some apartments do have views which include work sites as well as the Firth of Forth. POLICIES AND IMPORTANT NOTICES • All our apartments are strictly NON-SMOKING • Apartments will be serviced and fresh linen and towels provided once a week. Additional servicing can be arranged at extra cost. • There is no charge for children under 12 years old, when accompanied by 2 Adults. Maximum 2 children per family. • Children aged 12-16 years old half price • Cancellations and alterations. If you need to cancel or change your accommodation and provide Scottishapartment.com with 28 days notice. All cancellations need to be received by Scottishapartment.com in writing either by e-mail or fax and will only be effective on the date of written receipt. Scottishapartment.com advises guests to obtain personal travel insurance covering their accommodation. The following fees will be applied to the total value of the reservation for any cancellations received within 28 days of the arrival date: 28 Days = 10% Cancellation Fee 14 Days = 25% Cancellation Fee 7 Days = 50% Cancellation Fee 48 Hours = 75% Cancellation Fee Refunds are credited to the card/method used for payment. Alteration fee – all alterations will incur a £10.00 Admin fee. CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT Check-in Check in time is from 15:00 onwards Reception is on the ground floor of block C. This is where you check-in and pick up your keys Check-out Check out time is 10:00 Late checkouts can be arranged prior to arrival or with the concierge at check-in. We do also offer a luggage storage facility before and after checkout. DIRECTIONS From the City Centre From Waverly Station Bridge cross diagonally right over Princes Street onto South St Andrew Street. Take a left onto St Andrew Square and then take the first right. Follow St Andrew Square down take the second right onto Queen Street. From Queen Street head along to York Place. At traffic signals continue forward until you reach Picardy Place roundabout. Turn left (1st exit) at the roundabout and head down past The Edinburgh Playhouse (on your right) until you reach another roundabout. Go straight over the roundabout (1st exit) and follow Leith Walk until the road forks. At these traffic signals turn left onto Great Junction Street. Take the second left onto Lindsay Road. Follow the road until you reach a roundabout and take the 2nd exit, following signs for ‘The Western Harbour Development’, ‘The Element’ and ‘The Next Generation Gym’. Follow this road until you reach the final block. Reception is on the ground floor of block C. This is where you check-in and pick up your keys. Buses The Airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station).
