Our self catering holiday cottage is in Lochearnhead village, Perthshire within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. It is ideally situated for trips to Balquidder, Strathyre, Callander, Stirling, Glasgow, Comrie, Crieff, Perth, Gleneagles, Killin, Crianlarich and Oban, Fortwilliam; indeed most of the major tourist towns and attractions in Scotland. An excellent choice for; fishing, water sports, cycling, walking, golfing, riding, climbing enthusiasts, wildlife and for those interested in history or folklore. Also a romanitc and relaxing retreat if you simply watn to rest, read and enjoy the wonderful views. The region boasts excellent eateries from pub grub to fine dining and their are 2 hotels with a 200 metre stroll. Our charming two bedroom stone cottage faces south enjoying magnificent views of Loch Earn and Ben Vorlich from its elevated position. Little Briar is surrounded by wooden decking within generous landscaped gardens, featuring ornamental furniture and barbeque facilities. A separate driveway leads up to the cottage with parking for 2 cars. Guests can also request to fish, picnic or barbeque from our 250ft private garden area on the shores of Loch Earn where we have a jetty, slipway and 3 mooring buoys. We(Kim and Fraser Proven)live in Briar Cottage, a 300 year old thatched cottage on the same 2 acre grounds as Little Briar.
