Scenic footpaths and forest fire trails are easily accessed from the cottage offering the opportunity to explore the stunning Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, part of the National park, either by foot or by mountain bike.   The village of Aberfoyle is just one mile from the cottage and is a thriving, busy village with good amenities including several restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, a bank, a garden centre and a Co-operative.
