IS THIS WEBSITE REALLY FREE?
Yes - There are no strings and no catches. We may introduce some extra services that we will charge for but basic advertising will always be free. As part of our new, age verifier (you have to be over 18 to use this site) we have put in place a paypal verification page where by you will be asked to register a paypal account and donate £1 to a charity (we have given you 3 to choose from!). We at SCB donate all money received from this verification process to the charities chosen and do not keep a single penny of it.

I HAVE ACTIVATED MY ACCOUNT BUT WHEN I LOG IN - IT SAYS IT IS NOT ACTIVATED
This is due to your browser settings. Try enabling Cookies (On IE you should find this under TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS and the PRIVACY TAB). Alternatively try setting your browser security settings lower.

I HAVE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD - WHAT DO I DO?
When logging in leave the password field blank and you will receive an email with your password in a couple of minutes.

I AM SURE MY PASSWORD IS CORRECT BUT I STILL CANNOT LOG IN?
One of the most common reasons for this is because you have changed your email address. Remember that if you change your email address - your login ID will change so you must use the NEW address not the old one. Your password will still be the same (unless you changed that too).

WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH MY ACTIVATION KEY?
This is probably because you have typed in the wrong email address. As soon as you register we send you an email with your activation key and you should receive it almost immediately. If you do not receive it, it is almost certainly because the email address you entered is incorrect.

MY EMAIL IS WRONG - WHAT SHOULD I DO?
You have two choices. Either log back in and edit your profile in which case you can change the email address to the correct one. Alternatively you can simply register again with your correct email address.

MY EMAIL IS DEFINITELY CORRECT - WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Firstly try logging out and then back in. When you log back in, if your account is not activated we automatically send you another email with your activation key. If you still do not receive an email - check your email address again. Are you absolutely sure it is correct?? If you are sure your email address is correct but you do not receive an email, Contact Us and we will sort it out for you.

I HAVE SOLD MY PROPERTY AND WISH TO TRANSFER IT TO THE NEW OWNER
If you only have one property, the easiest way to do this is to Login and change your email address to theirs. Tell them your password and they can then login and all enquiries will go to them. If however you have several properties and have only sold one, they need to register a new account with us and then you must contact us, telling us which property to move, your login ID and their ID and we will move it for you.

PLEASE STOP SENDING ME EMAILS TELLING ME I HAVE UNREAD BOOKING ENQUIRIES
If we are sending you emails saying you have unread booking enquiries - it is because you have unread booking enquiries - and we will continue to send you emails. You may well have responded to all the emails we sent out and replied to your customers, however some emails get lost and the only way to ensure that you deal with all your enquiries is for us to log them all. You must then read them so that we know they have been dealt with.

PLEASE STOP SENDING ME EMAILS TELLING ME TO ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT

If we are sending you emails it is because you have registered. Remember that by registering you have agreed to our terms and conditions that allow us to send you emails. These reminders are system generated and will stop automatically after about 2 weeks. If in the mean time you wish to stop these emails - activate your account and they will stop. You are not under any obligation to place an advert.

PLEASE DELETE ME FROM YOUR WEB SITE
If you have decided not to use our free service any more (for example you may have sold your property), you can log in and delete your adverts yourself. A few weeks after that your account will also be automatically deleted.

ADDING YOUR PROPERTY
You have up to an hour to complete the process of adding your advert to the directory. If you do not add your advert within this allotted time we cannot process your advert.

ADDING YOUR PHOTOS
Your photos must be saved as JPG (jpeg) before uploading (See your photo program to do this). Ideally the photos must be under 1Mb (megabyte) in size before uploading (Tip: Reduce the size & quality of your photos in your PC program before uploading)
