We can also arrange for a local restaurateur to come to the house and cook a traditional Italian banquet for your party.

Local Area Details

The cottage is located in Fiastra Abbey Nature Reserve (Macerata, Italy), at the edge of a 100 ha wood with a stunning view of Fiastra Valley. Many paths pass through the Reserve from one end to another, where you can walk or ride. The man�ge is only 2 km far from the cottage. The Abbey of Chiaravalle di Fiastra is one of the best preserved Cistercian monastery in Italy. Founded in the 12th century, it still preserves, besides the imposing church, many of the ancient rooms of the monastery: refectory, chapter house, cloister, cellar and store houses. In the monastery there still is a small community of Cistercian monks. The area around the Abbey of Chiaravalle di Fiastra is a wide park reserved to pedestrians where you can find two bars, a typical restaurant, a self-service restaurant, a pizzeria, an open-air bar and the food store selling the products of the local farmers. In Urbisaglia, the small town which is 5 km far, you will find many other shops and services.
