The property is 500 m2 and was built 12 years ago in traditional style. The property is situated on a 7,000 m2 plot where there is room for ball games, bathing in the pool, lying beneath the refreshing shade of the many trees or sitting on the hacienda and enjoying a glass of chilled rosé wine from the local vineyards. Or enjoying the sun and the view over Montauroux and the mountains.

The property is exceptionally charming and with many attractive architectural details, e.g. almost all ceilings in the property are different, there are exposed beams in the living room and kitchen, making the rooms very attractive and special. In addition, almost all the doors and built-in storage doors on the top storey are antique. The property is built over several levels and most of the rooms have access to balcony or garden.

The swimming pool is suitable for children and adults of all ages. It is possible to access the pool via a wide ramp down into the water, so even tiny tots can bathe.

Our obliging concierge couple (Danish/French-speaking) lives i a separate annexe.

The garden is well-stocked with a great variety of plants, including flowers, apples, pears, almonds, apricots, figs, eucalyptus, lemon and cherry trees; in addition, the traditional subtropical vegetation is represented by olive trees, palms, oleander, cypress, lavender, thuja and bourgonvilla. Part of the garden, which we call the ?woodland?, is planted with spruce and pine. It?s always delightful to go exploring in the garden. The whole garden is enclosed and the electric gates have CCTV and can be opened from the property

The property is situated in the heart of Provence/Var, which enjoys a wonderful climate with approximately 300 days of sunshine per year and an average temperature of 26 degrees from April to September.

Montauroux and Callian offer a bakery, butcher?s shop, grocers, chemists? shops and plenty of excellent, reasonably priced restaurants. A delicious three-course meal can be enjoyed for approximately 20 euro, but for a gourmet dinner, you need venture no further afield than to Fayence or Grasse, which both have terrific restaurants listed in the Michelin guide.

Dont forget to enjoy a pastis on the main square in Montauroux beneath the shady plane trees.
