Property Details of Normandy House
Mirabelle is a comfortable, well furnished, three bedroom house with full central heating. The ground floor is open space, in three areas, the first area has seating around the granite stone fireplace, the second area has a three seater settee and armchairs, with TV, vidieo DVD player, this adjoins the dining and kitchen area. The kitchen has a gas cooker with 4 hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker etc. plus a good selection of tableware, glasses and cooking utensils. A washing machine is available in the adjoining Utility Room. The patio doors lead onto an enclosed patio area with garden furniture and outside lighting. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms. Main double bedroom has a double Louis VX bed, the second bedroom has two single wooden beds. The third bedroom has one single bed. The bathroom has a washbasin, walk-in shower and wc. The main walled garden has a BBQ.
Local Area DetailsThe D-Day Landing beaches of Omaha, the American Cemetery at Colleville and Germany Cemetery at La Cambe plus many WW11 museums are all within a 15 minutes drive. The house is located in the hamlet of Maisy, there is a restaurant and bar 100 yards away, you also buy your daily fresh bread from the bar. Grandcamp is 1/2 mile away, here, you will find everything you need, restaurants, cafes and bars, supermarket, chemist and Boulangerie. Grandcamp Maisy is a 5 minutes drive to the main N13 giving easy access to all areas of Normandy. It is a 45 minute drive from the ferry ports of Cherbourg and Caen.
