The apartment has been restored without disturbing the original qualities of the architecture., wood beam ceilings, terra cotta floors and white plaster walls have been kept in the traditional Tuscan style. The apartment is fully furnished with a mixture of contemporary pieces and antiques. The livingroom has a working stone fireplace three meters wide. The kitchen is modern with a gas stove and a washing machine for laundry The bathroom has been completely rehabilitated with modern fixtures .very roomy house,located in Simignano ,the strutture was once a small guard tower(hence the name ) use as a watch for the town which dates back to the 1200`S
