The bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) open out onto a balcony overlooking the marina. The living area has a kitchen corner with dishwasher, hob, fridge and oven/microwave. There is a double sofa bed and the dining table expands to seat 6 A TV & video is provided together with videos, books and games. A travel cot and high chair are also provided. The living area leads out onto another balcony which gets the afternoon and evening sun. Duvets and pillows are provided and linen hire can be arranged or bring your own.
The apartment is in a fantastic location on this vibrant, new marina complex and is a perfect base for exploring the nearby area or just having a relaxing family holiday by the sea.
Local Area DetailsA short walk overa footbridge across the Dives estuary brings you to the historic belle epoque town of Cabourg while Houlgate is a pleasant stroll away in the opposite direction. Both towns have superb, safe, sandy beaches with activities for children in the high season. Dives sur Mer is famed for its Saturday market held in a hall dating back to the time of William the Conqueror.
Within easy reach are the D-Day landing beaches, Golf Courses and fishing as well as the towns of Deauville, Honfleur, Rouen, Lisieux and Bayeux. All in all this is a perfect base for exploring all that Calvados has to offer or taking advantage of the wonderful sandy beaches and pleasant climate.
