A traditional Norman longere, charming and quaint, but with a strong identity, it has been restored to the highest standards and furnished with a subtle mix of the old and the new. Beautifully comfortable and comprehensively equipped, La Reverie even has its own superb library of fiction and non-fiction books. Why not enjoy a glass or two of wine on the terrace while supper cooks on the barbecue? Alternatively, a ten-minute walk will bring you to the friendly village bar and shop. For those who enjoy lazy days by the sea, the endless sandy beaches of the west coast are 25 minutes away. So, if you are looking for a romantic, self-catering holiday rental, or just somewhere to relax and unwind, then we believe La Reverie would be very hard to beat.
Local Area DetailsLa Reverie is ideally situated for many popular attractions. The Normandy Landing Beaches are within an 1 1/2 hours drive as are numerous museums, memorials and places of interest connected with the last war. The magical Mont St Michel Cathedral with it's winding streets, shops and restaurants can be reached in under an hour. Bayeux with its famous tapestry is about an 1 1/2 hour in the car. Granville fishing port, harbour marina and shops about 1/2 hour, Champrepus Zoological Park and gardens approximately ten minutes, Avranches museum of the second world war 1/2 hour distant, Villedieu-Les-Poeles is some five miles away and has a famous copper industry, bell foundry and a wonderful Tuesday market. Countryside walks, cycling, golf, fishing and other activities can also be found in the area as can the always popular restaurants.

| La Reverie will be available all year round, including Christmas and New Year. We ask that a 25% deposit be paid on confirmation of the booking. The balance, including a 200 Euro security deposit, is payable eight weeks prior to the rental period. During winter low season, a small charge of 40 Euros will be made for central heating. |
