This space has a dressing area and full bath with specially designed, tiled, walk-in-shower that can also function as large, shallow tub. About Weather/Climate/Temperature

Our location in South Maui means leeward Haleakela so we are protected from the rains. We are actually on the desert side of the island which means less than 11 inches of rain a year. Sunny and warm the average temperature year round is about 74 F to 85 F. When the trade winds blow the area is very comfortable. Without the tropical breezes it can feel hot - usually in August-Sept

About Beaches

Keawakapu Beach is adjacent to our Wailea Ekahi Village home. It is a gorgous, white sand beach, well into the water. No rocks or seaweed here. Lava outcroppings at the ends of the beach mean good snorkeling too. You can walk for nearly 1/2 mile to the north and stop for a spot of tea or lunch at the Mauna Kai restaurant or continue on through paths to Kihei's Kamaole Beaches and walk for miles more. To the south about 50 feet the Wailea ocean front walk begins above the beaches and coves of Wailea. Great views of Molokini, the various luxury resort hotels of Wailea and more great spots for dining or even a massage - ocean front.
